This crowd also longs for the noir super hero Trump of their dreams. They often show him being summoned by searchlights in the sky like Batman. They want him to be the mythic 3D chess-playing genius who is ten steps ahead of his enemies and is waiting for the perfect moment to pounce. But then they look at the diminished actual Trump and the people close to him....and they see the realities of the republican party.

They just want hope.

Raheem,

We're still pursuing the machines.

They should not be used.

I am not optimistic. I don't know if elections will ever be real. I know what we face with the left (I always hated the pundits calling them liberals, when they are really authoritarians). But, what we have learned about the republicans is that so many are just as corrupt, just as authoritarian, and happy to help the other side along. These are the people we need to remove if there will ever be a chance for We The People to live in any semblance of freedom.

The biggest issues are the captured agencies of government and intelligence/ D.O.J., and the media - mainly brought to us by the hubris of the globalists and their toy, The World Economic Forum. We are living in an increasingly corporatist world This is far more insidious than the Fascists of the mid 20th century where corporations were controlled by the governments. Now the Corps control the governments.

MAGA or Dark-MAGA be what it may, is just reacting to the dire state of affairs we are in now. A real MAGA movement must act and endure whether President Trump is part of the equation or not. I will vote for Trump if he runs again, but at his age health can be an issue. It is really the principles that we need to be voting for more than any individual. If the veracity of the election is doubtful, I will still vote, but if it is stolen again, I will walk away and no longer participate.

“Operation Trust” was a 1920s Bolshevik counterintelligence operation aimed at neutralizing opposition by creating the false impression that a powerful group of military leaders had organized to stop the communists’ takeover. QAnon believers need to snap out of it and push back IRL against BlueAnon.

History repeats itself. What goes round comes round. We are caught in a never ending loop. This is the typical “so-called” MAGA, afraid of the MSM and people masquerading as patriots. We need to find the strength to ignore the left and the go along to get along gang (we have way to many of those). You do not have to be nice to people who are never nice. We need a real, unafraid MAGA. It does necessarily need to be dark, just strong and steady in its resolve.

It takes 25 years to transform the electorate and have those at the local level rise to the Federal. I see the hope in the grass roots movements that have gained strength during this catastrophic decline under Xiden. Sadly, I see that as the ONLY hope because right now there are none that could do what President Trump did, flaws and weaknesses. Rick Grenell made presented an interesting idea which would help a deal: move the large agencies outside of Washington, D.C. dispersed into various states. Wasn't there a program going on, to line up thousands of appointees ahead of time, to start out 2024 with a broad sweep?

"'more focused approach to the role only he can fill.'"

Trump has turned out the be astroturf-MAGA. We will find someone more MAGA than Trump for the next go-round. And it will be someone who never took the jab. And someone with a better track record with the movement than DJT.

Trump was the battering ram that broke through the establishment gates. That was good. And so many Americans learned that winning is achievable. We've learned a lot. We will do even better next time.

I enjoy everything Raheem writes. On this subject matter my feeling is "What a waste of energy!" We know what we need to do and we had better stop fooling around and do it!

Sorry but I feel strongly that these "meme wars" are an attempt to confuse us. I try to ignore all of it and make up my own mind.

There is only one party, folks—the uniparty. They feed us empty calories a la the WWE inspired take-downs of your “patriots” like Jim Jordan or Matt Gaetz, all the while expecting us to be satiated. Yet when the curtain falls, our “betters” clink their glasses in cheers of having duped rubes like you and me, yet again, into buying the false Republican vs. Democrat dichotomy, before proceeding to partake in their more debouched pastimes (ie, snorting lines of you know what off of certain appendages, etc.). And to what do we have to look forward?...De-dollarization, invasion on the Southern border, war on the family, etc. If things seem bad now, wait until they actually do the things they alleged Trump would do—think declaring martial law and suspending the constitution before an election because of...gee, I don’t know, take your pick: a cyber hack by “foreign bad actors;” a climate crisis; a looming wave of victories for MAGA-esque candidates, whom they allege are engaging in a national conspiracy to defraud the gubiment; all the above?! (Liam Neeson as) Michael Collins once said, “the most powerful weapon you have is to say, NO!’” Start saying, “NO!” And STOP buying pillows, vitamins, and books advertised on the War Room; that ain’t gonna cut it.

Trump was absolutely needed in 2016, and had a great Presidency 2017-2019, but COVID destroyed him and unfortunately, he let it happen. Participated in it even. And there can be no reviving of #MAGA until every innocent patriot who still faces legal problems and/or imprisonment from J6 is free and clear. Trump should be nothing else except working to make that happen, and the fact that he's not tells us what all we need to know about where his loyalties lie. Seems obvious to me that DeSantis has picked up the torch put down by Trump in March 2020, and is leading the movement, making him the obvious choice in 2024, provided he stays on his current trajectory.
