Excellent article.👍 Bob Woodward is a nobody who tries to be relevant. Senator Graham on the other hand hates Donald Trump and is always giving him the wrong advice.

I’m surprised that Mr Trump allowed this weasel to interview him. Hopefully Mr Trump learnt his lesson. Most of these Republicans are Rhinos

Trump is too damned nice!

Yep, and I forgot to say in my opinion piece, Grahamesty is as much of a traitor as his buddy John!

As a White House stenographer I heard the recording of Woodward interviewing President Bush .. his “sources’” facts (unnamed Armitage, C Powell) were his leverage .. round and round he went, pulling Bush back to the facts, more like a prosecutor getting the witness to confess .. didn’t buy that book or any of his.. not worth the time ..

Always appreciate your take on things. If I am remembering this correctly, wasn't it Woodward who was somehow insanely channeling what Condoleezza Rice was thinking about while she was sitting ALONE in her apartment on her couch?

You saved me 12 hours thank you. Bob Woodward what a sleeze ball.

Mr. Kassam;

Bob Woodward’s CV

Naval Officer , Signals (Communications -Radio, not PR).

-Admiral’s aide

-Nuclear Clearance

- WHICA-White House Communications Agency- POTUS worldwide Military Communications- that keeps POTUS always in Command and Control so he can launch WW3 and other lesser matters- Mr. Kassam there’s no higher clearance possible. It is unlikely he could become a Reporter without permission, he would have seen everything.

Everything.

* Leaves military, turns down full scholarship to Harvard Law School. That’s highest lawyers in the nation, a Federal Judge or very well paid attorney, or both.

* He then takes a low status working class occupation of Crime Beat Reporter for a second string DC newspaper, The Washington Independent.

* He is then hired by the CIAs Paper of Record WAPO.

* He’s fortuitously in Court when CIA contract burglars from Watergate are arraigned.

* He then gets the biggest source in History, FBI Deputy Director Mark Felt, aka Deep Throat.

In the most status conscious city on Earth, this lowly nobody lands the Moby Dick of sources.

Let us conjoin this Frank Capra story of Robert Redford , oh excuse me Mr. Smith with an earlier Naval matter of the Spy Scandal of the Navy putting a spy in with Kissinger, which is public.

https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2002/04/nixon-and-the-chiefs/302473/

The Joint Chiefs didn’t trust Nixon, with reason. He wound down Vietnam, ended Conscription, opened relations with China, negoitiating nuclear arms control with the Soviets and Detente with Brezhnev.

Let us review that the leader of the bungled burglary was supervised by FBI alumni G. Gordon Liddy. The burglars who got caught being CIA, WAPO Graham family and Ben Bradlee being part of “The Georgetown set” sort of The Rat Pack for Washington Post and the CIAs Founding Generation. < that’s well known.

I don’t believe Woodward’s Frank Capra story, and I don’t believe the FBI and the CIA , nor the Joint Chiefs we’re sorry to see Nixon fall.

I will say Woodward is a fraud from the beginning of the farce, and if you saw what happened to Trump you understand what happened to Nixon.

That’s Woodward.

Woodward was an American spy placed inside the media, as common then as it is now.

His colleague Carl Bernstein can’t quite bring himself to say it in 1977 RS, but he does explain that’s its long practice.

"...there’s no higher clearance possible."

Indeed, there is a higher one. Higher than of those who worked on the "big boy".

One thing I never understood about President Trump was his willingness to give access to people like Woodward. He must have known they were only out to get him. There would be no winning them over. Woodward always wanted to claim the scalp of another President. The Biden Regime does not grant interviews from right leaning Journalists. Of, course Biden doesn't need to, he does all the damage to himself.

I had my doubts about Woodward all the way back to watching the Nixon drama unfold. Graduating from high school in 1969, that was my 1st real education into how politics work.

I agree with you about the great president Trump. I've thought a lot about it, because he is very smart, but look at the many people who stab him in the back? I've come to the conclusion that he loves people and because he loves all people, he gives them second chances! I would have no problem keeping liars and traitors and scum away from him, I don't love people, but I'm A nobody so I'll never get that chance!

Again, a very fine review of a bad interview, eloquent written and with great insight. Thanks, for spending time on this so I don't have to listen to twelve hours with Woodward. Btw. where is his friend Bernstein?

Why do we never hear that "Deep throat" was a complete fraud. Deputy chief of FBI and wanted to get Nixon, cuz he didn't became chief after J. Edgar. Much like Comey, actually. How many are like that in the revered FBI? Besides this Watergate story didn't have much to do with reporting, it was just repeating what "Deep throat" told. Actually, the DC swamp was after Nixon, cuz he was reelected with 49 states, and became a threat to DC.

Man, are we finally going to see some or all of these DC guys going to spend more time with their family and their absurd pensions?

Mark Levin has long stated that Woodward earned his Watergate-reporting Pulitzer for his role as Mark Felt’s stenographer not as a reporter.

This is the problem I have noted with media writers and spokesmen alike, they start believing their jazz, the story becomes their story, tells more about the writer than the subject, all objectivity is lost; that used to be the purpose of the editor, you know that mythical person that actually read and reviewed critically and is now more rare than the habitat of the darter snail.

I on't understand why Trump agrees to these pathetic interviewers. Does he not see what they truly are? Or, what they really want to do - show their cleverness, while making Trump look like a bufffoon? Trump needs not "prove" himself to anyone. I think that his genius would be obvious, and that people like Woodward aren't worth his valuable time. Mr. President keep your eyes on those who want to see you at the top where you belong. You don't have to prove yourself to all the millions of MAGAs who already love you.

Mr Trump loves America and it is so obvious by all of his accomplishments for America in spite of the constant false accusations from the Liberals! Perhaps the nay sayers will realize he is great for America and ultimately the honest citizens in the world and I pray he cleans house so he an get rid of the stinking DC SWAMP. Never forget how very DEEP the swamp really is!

It is obvious that he also feels these people can only be found out if they are provided access and visibility, whereas politics hides information plays out in clandestine little meetings, Trump is laying it out for everyone, in plain sight, these are the leaders and how they misuse authority, Trump understands and wants all to understand, anti-political and exposing the cesspool of DC.

Obama isn't smart, that's A fairytale created by the left! That egotistical little commie would have paraded his college marks if he he had them! He never finished college, and I dont believe he was a legal president for several reasons! Obama is a con man and liar, and responsible for many of the actions of today's resident! Woodward is a schmuck, and Nixon was screwed by his own, just like our great president Trump! Enough said, oh me of strong opinion.

Obama isn’t a Red Diaper Baby.

He’s a 3d generation IC / Intel Community baby.

Grandpa- US career Intelligence.

Frank Davis - our 🇺🇸 snitch inside CPUSA.

Mommy Obama- USAID in Indonesia when it was spicy. 🩸🩸💀 (yes, a spy).

Indonesian Stepfather- Indonesian military when it was 200,000 killed deep in Communist blood.

That’s the spicy times in Indonesia 💀, Bammy grew up right after the killing had tapered off. Mostly.

Obama’s Community Organizing inside Ford Foundation’s BCCI, which exists to keep Black and White working classes from ever realizing common interests by dividing over racial and social issues. Bellows says BCCI is a CIA front.

The entire things a farce.

An IC baby masquerading as quasi Marxist.

Bill Ayers? Funny how he stayed out of jail for terrorism, yep.

When someone doesn’t go to jail I’m a tad suspicious. 😂

(I’m Right wing BTW, whatever that means.)

Its not the CIA runs everything, its The Ivy League runs the government, banks, law, business. The CIA is just a key point of control, it’s competent for the Ruling Class to staff Intel.

It would be gross incompetence not to, these days they seem to be the Democratic Party’s Pinkertons.
