There are very good reasons for secure border beyond keeping out criminals and a ridiculously cheap labor force that undermines the nation's economy by forcing wages lower for working class people. As an aside, Somehow Artificial Intelligence which knows no borders will help complete the take down by replacing a huge number of white collar jobs.
