FIRSTLY: Folks, another reminder that since X (formerly Twitter) no longer allows Substack links to propagate, nor be promoted, all future works will be available on TheNationalPulse.com, via the website or our Apple or Android apps. And by the way, if you get the apps, you get free push notifications of top stories from us, which will certainly enable you to better navigate the news landscape in a world where CNN or the New York Times usually “set the tone” and conservatives spend the rest of the day or week fighting back.

SECONDLY: I know I’m behind on a podcast but honestly, is there really that much to say about the campaign this week? I know, I know, everyone had “opinions” on the debate and the impact of THAT MUGSHOT. But the state of play in the race hasn’t changed as a result of either. Nor from the Tucker-Trump interview. And I’m just not one of those people who says things for the sake of viewership or clicks. But tell me if you think I’m wrong in the comments, by the way. I still come here and read them all even if Elon Musk has adopted similar boot-on-neck strategies to his predecessors.

THIRDLY: Happy 100th episode to Fleccas Talks, which is also now part of the Pulse+ network that we’re building over at The National Pulse, in case you didn’t know. And if you don’t yet know Fleccas Talks, the podcast, well you’re missing out. Many people are saying it is in fact the best new podcast of all time! (You’ll get that reference if you’re a listener!) FOURTH…LY: The National Pulse was the first news organization to publish the Trump mugshot, and I fancy that our headline was better that most, too. But mostly importantly, I spent the next few hours designing the front cover of our new, quarterly, print magazine. I want all of you to come over and subscribe to the Pulse+ so that we can get this content onto your coffee tables, side-tables, bedside tables… basically all the tables, I want to run the tables is what I’m saying.

LASTLY, BUT NOT LEAST…LY: We were honored, once again, to receive some notes from President Donald J. Trump this week. I let him know a few weeks back that one of our writers, Jake Welch, would be tickled pink to hear from him and in amongst all of his problems, the former POTUS still found time to drop this young writer from England a personal note, below.
