They tried that crap here in Missouri. I and many others just left and went somewhere else. Finally they just printed up throw away menus on printer paper and the problem was solved. I have friends and relatives that don't even have a phone of any kind. I love them the most.

Whenever my hubby and I go out to eat, he refuses to use QR code to order, refuses to use those payments centers they place on the tables (they very seldom print a receipt) and if there are open tables near a window (that’s where he likes to sit) and the host says there is no server at those window tables we leave. Restaurants that are half empty shouldn’t be so picky. Most places accommodate but sometimes you do get the obstinate control freak host. We tip well for personal service and enjoy the interaction with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Technology is a pain sometimes😂
